Loved the food and the service!!
Best sandwiches in Boise! Must try!
Authentic real food. Was awesome.
Great Gyros and super people work there. It is a comfortable atmosphere and a bit classy.
This place is exceptional. The sandwiches are well made and they do not skimp on the servings. The owners are excellent at making you feel comfortable. The little grocery store they have is also a great place to purchase European delicacies that you had overseas or if you just want to try a new treat. Almost forgot, the sandwiches are huge! The club is so delightful!
Wonderful sandwiches and in the winter months they have a really tasty goulash served with fresh baked bread. Great little market up front, and awesome staff.
I've seen the sign from the street a hundred times over the years and always kind of laughed because it just says Sandwiches. Finally read a few reviews and decided to give it a chance. Good food, fair price and friendly people cooking and serving. We'll definitely go back to give other things on the menu a try. It's worth giving it a chance!
Delicious food and fantastic quality bread
You can find a Bulgarian feta cheese there
Low key, low lighting atmosphere with friendly staff. Stopped in and placed a to-go order in the afternoon. Sandwich was made quickly. Ordered the House Special Panini (amazing!). The sandwich was delicious, fresh and flavorful. I will definitely be back!!
The gyros here are phenomenal, and when it's on the menu the goulash is great too. This place is run by a husband and wife from Bosnia. They are wonderful friendly people. Their location is also available as a venue for events.
The boex is awesome. Its ran by a super friendly husband and wife team and looks like just a local grocery store until you go in the back and realize they have a bar back there as well as an excellent kitchen. I love their gyros and theres a ton of really interesting bosnian snacks in the store as well. Dont be intimidated just grab something and try it youll be surprised. I recommend the banana candy thingys with chocloate on them (I cant read whats on the label because i dont speak the language), they come in a box and are individually foil wrapped. Ask the lady who works there, she knows what they are.
Must visit! Love the store and the food is great. Love the dumplings
Great portions and a solid gyro sandwich. You think you can't eat it all in one sitting but taste so good that I usually finish it anyways. Soup bowls are great for a cold winter day.
This place is simple and clean with tasty food. The owners are really nice. It's location is a little different as it's located in the back of a store, but it's a nice space. Simple sandwiches and gyros. Recommended!
Amazing food great customer service just amazing experience overall
This is the best sandwich place on the planet! It also has amazing customer service and delicious food! If I could I'd give it ten stars! Btw: they could memorize our order they memorized my mother's today. They have a little shop where you can buy strange snacks and chocolate!
Excellent gyro! Don't forget to order fries. Cant wait to go back and try more sandwiches. Super nice people serving you as well.
It was ok. Sandwiches were not what I expected. But very good. The little shop was cool.
Super happy we stumbled across this place. Best gyros we've ever had, best Turkish Coffee, and loved the atmosphere. Excited they have our favorite chocolates and other snacks/foods/drinks out front as well.
This is a classic example of "don't judge a book by its cover" or in this case the store front. Take a stroll inside to some delicious sandwiches and entrees you would never expect from first look at this place. Not to mention the hidden jem in the back room (not going to spoil it, go sr for yourself)
This is an awesome European sandwich shop. Great food, service, and beer.
The sandwiches are amazing, especially the lamb and beef gyro! The owner is a really sweet guy too!
Their gyros are the best! Love their turkey padtrami pannini too! All sandwich bread is homemade and so is their turkey padtrami. Delish! Super sweet owners and nice looking cafe setting and fun grocery upfront.
Very friendly service and great food with generous portions. A favorite low key local spot
I come here regularly, they have a beautiful store in front and large bar/dining area with a wonderful environment. The owner is incredibly kind and hard-working, and the food is to die for!
The food was amazing! And, the owner was incredibly nice and helpful! I will definitely be going back.
Great soup, salad, and Turkish coffee. A true gem of Boise
My husband and I used to go here all the time when we lived nearby. The owners would know exactly what we wanted before we even asked. They have the most amazing fresh sandwitches. The little market shop attached is amazing. HUGE selection of imported foods and drinks. Looking for some exotic chocolate? Check out BoEx!
Excellent portions for the price. Fresh, well made sandwiches in a unique atmosphere. The shop features a wine wall, a bar, and imported shop to buy chocolate and other goods at the end.
The outside looks old, then you walk in and it's huge and updated. Great huge bar. Sandwiches were delicious. Only complaint is the condiments. Ketchup packets. Salt and pepper packets that come in your plastic silverware package.
The owner is so sweet; he gave me a free little chocolate when I told him I was in school. The store is cute, and the food is priced out well and is amazing. I love that it's local, and that the food you're getting also tastes amazing, since it's small batch.
The House special Panini sandwich is so amazing and filling!! The attached BoEx snack shop is a must to try Jaffa Cakes. Get down there and make something of your day :)
Best sandwich of my life. Nice owners. Everything is made from scratch. Cool little grocery market on the side.
Great little family-run sandwich place. Their fresh-baked bread is FANTASTIC. So far I've tried their house panini and gyro panini and both have been great. The couple that run the place are very friendly, and prices are extremely reasonable, especially considering how big the sandwiches are. Definitely recommended!
I found this place by accident today, and was so pleasantly surprised! It looks like a hole in the wall, but the food was wonderful and the couple that owns it were helpful and welcoming. They even had gluten-free bread, so I was able to get a Panini! I am so happy to find such a nice little lunch spot with food I can eat. I will definitely be coming back to try to Reuben.
Best gyros in town by far. The other sandwiches on the menu are really great too.
If you are looking for the BEST lamb gyros in Idaho... This is the place. Super nice owners and great place to hang out.
Great service and great sandwiches! Would recommend the Turkey Pesto Panini ðŸ˜
Best gyro in town.
Stop by if you want a great sandwich, with even better atmosphere.
It depends where you go there for, for foreign Goods it's okay I'm glad there's plenty of competition out there. As for renting a private Lounge in the back, well make sure your dress real thin because it can get real hot. I'm not sure if the AC is up to par to cool that place, but it could be real miserable if you're trying to enjoy a private event. Happened to attend a private event, and a lot of people were miserable. So think twice before you book this and make sure the AC is up to par, especially on hot days 95 and above.
I was traveling with my husband one day and we were both ready for lunch but we didn’t know what to get. We pass this shop sometimes that says sandwiches but we have never stopped. Today we stopped. The man who greeted us was very nice and friendly. He took our order and made everything while I waited. We paid in to little shop in the front that carried a ton of yummy treats from all over. The food was good. We are really glad we stopped and will definitely go back.
The best sandwiches!! I love the turkey and avocado on homemade fresh bread. Service and friendliness always wonderful. Eki recommended great Bosnian and Croatian wines. On of my favorite places to eat.Dusanka and Eki’s made the restaurant so beautiful for my mother’s 100th birthday!!
Great food and atmosphere. Gyros were extra fresh and flavorful. Don't forget to buy some smoked meat before you leave!
Gyro is soo good and they bake the bread from scratch! Very nice and quite. Nice place to relax and get work done
My first visit to BoEx for lunch. I had the combo salad, 1/2 sandwich, drink spcl. Was very yummy. Great service too. And the little store at front of restaurant was a total delight. Wonderful selection of some of my favorite European chocolate, cookies and a lg selection of pickled veggies. I highly recommend BoEx. ♡♡
The best gyro in Boise. Also the owners are the nicest people in the neighborhood. And they have German chocolate which is great.
The friendliest staff and some of the most delicious sandwiches in Boise! Oh, and don’t forget the European chocolate up front!
Made a delivery of food products here. Friendly people and delicious cappuccino!Hopefully will be back to try a sandwich, they sure look delicious!
